Made in the Valley moved into The Egg Factory in the summer of 2014 and after much floor scrubbing, white paint and furniture moving, we opened our doors to co-workers in January 2015.

Amanda is a writer, poet and theatre educator. Until recently she was a much loved and esteemed Director of Education at Manchester's Royal Exchange but is now enjoying the thrills of a freelance life in her office at The Egg Factory.

Julia makes "bright pictures to escape grey days". She teaches, paints and does her screen printing at The Egg.
Emma is a graphic artist who manages to live in Hebden and work in Brighton. She's incredibly prolific with a daily output of words and mark making that would shame Picasso.
A freelance journalist with an interest in food issues, Marie-Claire has recently trained as a permaculturist. She often writes and collaborates on local projects from The Egg Factory.
